M.A. Thesis: “Rethinking Sovereignty and the State: the American Revolution, the International Press, and the French Political Imagination”

Research Interests

My M.A. Thesis explores how the coverage of the American Revolution in the francophone press fit into ongoing debates about political thought in 1770s France. I study eighteenth-century France in the Atlantic and European worlds, and my research interests include print culture, intellectual history, and political imagination.
