Romeu Rábago Talk

Please join us on Thursday, March 21 for a talk by Patricio Romeu Rábago – Historian, Museographer, and Curator at the Instituto Nacional de Pueblos Indígenas, Mexico. The talk, entitled “Nochi Tlahtolemeh Totlahtolwan (All Languages are Our Languages): Linguistic Diversity and Public Policies in Mexico”, will be followed by a roundtable discussion on the difficult questions surrounding multiculturalism and multilingualism as part of cultural autonomy and citizenship in the modern states of the Americas.

The talk and roundtable will take place from 4 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 in Pauli Murray 569.

This talk is co-sponsored by the UNC History Department and the UNC Institute for the Study of the Americas.
