Historical GIS Course Offering

August 29 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Join the Digital History Lab for a four-module, self-paced, non-credit course created by program alum Gabe Moss, PhD. In the course, you will learn the basics of QGIS and consider cartographic theories applied to historical questions. By December, you will be ready to launch your own mapping project.

Beginning Tuesday, August 29, the course will meet every other Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 1 PM in Carolina Hall 320. If you cannot attend in person, the course is available for asynchronous participation as well. To access the course on Canvas, please email or express interest in the DHL’s annual survey.
