There is an extensive range of housing options. If you are interested in subletting a local apartment off-campus, search sites such as www.Airbnb.com and http://www.heelshousing.com/housing. A long-stay hotel is another option.

On campus, the university’s Conference Services is holding for Institute participants a limited number of fully furnished Guest Apartments at various locations; these are one- or two-bedroom, with one bathroom. For more information, see: https://housing.unc.edu/guests

Housing is also being held for Institute participants in the Ram Village residential hall on south campus, a 10-15 minute walk (or short free bus ride) from the Institute’s seminar room. Each Ram Village apartment consists of four bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as shared living and kitchen areas. However, these apartments are not stocked with linens or with kitchen equipment (plates, pans, etc.); linen packets may be ordered for an additional fee. For the Institute, each Ram Village apartment will be leased to either one or two participants only (with the other three or two bedrooms locked). For more information, see: http://conferences.unc.edu/lodging/residence-halls/ram-village

Rates for on-campus housing based on the minimum 27-night stay (In: Sunday, June 18; Out: Saturday, July 15). There is no tax to be added to these rates:
