B.A. with majors in Classics, History, Vanderbilt University, 2017
My master’s thesis reveals the de facto censorship imposed by the military and Production Code Administration on Hollywood war movies during the 1950s and how it shaped American memory of WWII. My research interests are American war memory and commemorative practices, relationships between the U.S. military and cultural institutions, and American college athletics.
