Research Interests
I am broadly interested in the cultural history of militaries and societies. Specifically, I explore the way in which military organizations and societies they serve reciprocally impact each other. My dissertation project investigates the impacts of institutional racism on the burgeoning cold-war US Air Force. My wider research agenda includes the evolution of military strategy, doctrine, and theory including concepts of air power and targeting theory.
