M.A. Thesis: “On the Utility of Antiquity in Early America”
I study the political cultures of early Anglo and Latin America with a focus on civic republicanism, creole nationalism, mass media, citizenship, and the public sphere. My research deals with early American political aesthetics, especially neoclassicism, indigenismo, and pan-Americanism.
