Research Interests
My research interests lie in the exploration of French history spanning the Enlightenment through the mid-nineteenth century, with a primary focus on the period from 1700 to 1850. I am particularly concerned with the intellectual, social, and judicial dimensions of this era, with a special emphasis on the intellectual salons of Paris. My research examines the role of these salons as critical spaces for the exchange and dissemination of revolutionary ideas and their influence on the trajectory of judicial reform leading up to and during the French Revolution of 1789 and the subsequent Reign of Terror.
