Suicide Prevention in the Student Veteran Community: Elevating Voices for Change

Round table and Q&A event titled “Suicide Prevention in the Student Veteran Community: Elevating Voices for Change.” As you know, this is an issue of vital importance in the veteran community, and we are hoping to connect as many veterans and their loved ones as possible to this opportunity and the resources that are out there to help.
We are partnering with the UNC Suicide Prevention Institute, the THRIVE Program at the Gfeller Center, Stop Soldier Suicide/Roger, and the Carolina Veterans Alumni Network, among others, to promote and support the event. It will be held at the School of Government, Room 2306 on 11/09 at 6 PM, and there is also an option at attend virtually via Zoom (see attached flyer).
The event panel consists of:

- CAPT Kenneth Harris, Doctor of Social Work active-duty student
