This weekend, UNC PhD Amanda Bellows and Dr. Kathleen DuVal will be speaking at the Library of Congress National Book Festival. The Library of Congress National Book Festival is an annual literary event where best-selling authors, poets, and historians gather for panel discussions, book signings, and other activities. Dr. Bellows will present her new book The Explorers: A New History of America in Ten Expeditions and Dr. DuVal will present her latest book Native Nations: A Millennium in North America. Both works present historical research methods and historiographical arguments that advance their fields of history.
