The Phillips Ambassadors Program has teamed with Study Abroad and History to create a hybrid faculty-led study abroad program: UNC Phillips Summer in Shanghai. Participants will take “China in the World” (counts as HIST 282 or ASIA 282) from UNC’s Dr. Michael Tsin and choose a second course from NYU Shanghai’s summer course catalog to earn 6 credits in 6 weeks. All majors are welcome to apply, no language skills are required, and students are not required to be part of the Phillips Ambassador Program to participate. Attend the 11/14 information session to learn more and to hear from a program alumna about her experience in summer 2019. Find further details about UNC Phillips Summer in Shanghai here.

Applicants to UNC Phillips Summer in Shanghai are encouraged to also apply for the Phillips Ambassadors scholarship. If selected as an ambassador for the UNC Phillips Summer in Shanghai program, students will be awarded $7000 and will receive an additional 3 credits for taking part in the program’s unique Global Studies course.

Think Study Abroad. Think Asia.
