Undergraduate Minor (New Curriculum)

Undergraduate Program: Requirements of the History Minor in the "New" Curriculum

(This description is for students who enter UNC as first-year students in or after fall 2006, as sophomores in or after fall 2007, or as juniors in or after fall 2008)

To have a minor in history a student must have 5 history courses.

  • A maximum of two of these five courses may be below 200.
  • A student must do straight "C" level work or better in at least four of the five courses.
  • Three of the five courses must be taken at UNC-CH or in a program sponsored by UNC-CH.
