My general research interests involve the American military experience in the twentieth century. I am developing a research project to explore the role of personal relationships and mentorship among the officer corps of the United States Army. I am interested in exploring the effects of mentorship in relation to the professionalization of the Army as well as how these relationships affected the development and evolution of tactical and strategic thought.
