Travel Grant

Support for Graduate Students Presenting at Conferences

The Department has limited funs to assist ABD students in presenting papers at conferences.  If you are eligible and if funds are still available in the semester during which you apply, you may obtain from this source a travel grant of $200.

To be eligible for such assistance, you must:

            - be at the ABD stage of your doctoral work

            - be presenting a paper at the meeting

            - apply in advance of your travel and supply receipts on your return

            - submit the linked form to the DGS

In exceptional circumstances and if funds are available the department may subsidize travel and participation in seminars even if an applicant is not presenting a paper.  Funding in these instances will be made at the discretion of the DGS.
