Graduate Student Department Travel Grant Application

To be eligible for such assistance, you must:

•  Be at the ABD stage of your doctoral work and have already made use of the transportation grant available from the Graduate School.  (If you wish, you may use the graduate school grant at the same time as you request a Departmental Travel Grant.)

• You must not have received such assistance from the History Department in the past. (Except in extraordinary circumstances, students will be limited to one travel grant from the Department during their career at UNC-CH.)
• Be presenting a paper at the meeting.  (Apply in advance of your travel and supply receipts on your return. Submit the form to the DGS.)
